Oomph queen Sherlyn Chopra is floored with the response to the poster and trailer of her film Kamasutra-3D that released last week in Cannes Film Festival. “The response has been phenomenal, as this is the first time when a teaser has been released globally even before the shooting of the film has begun”, she told HT City during an interview to promote a reality TV show that she hosts.

“But after reading few feedback and comments on YouTube, I must say sex ke prati logon ko apna nazariya badalna hoga (people need to change their outlook towards sex). People see it as vulgarity while it’s about celebration of love”, she said.
And what’s her take on Vatsayana’s Kamasutra? “It is not just a sex manuscript. It’s also about love, family life and fundaments of life,” she quipped.

The movie, directed by filmmaker Rupesh Paul, has model King Malkhan as the male lead. The film goes on the floor in June and will be shot extensively in Rajasthan and Kerala. It’s slated for an August-September release in 2014.

The Cannes trailer was recently released to create a buzz globally for a smooth international release. The makers have decided to release it separately abroad and in India, keeping in view the sensibility of the Indian audience and the censor board.
Sherlyn has also done a few Hindi films like Game and Dil Bole Hadippa.
